World Wide Web (WWW) -
A widely used information system on the Internet that provides facilities for documents to be connected to other documents by hypertext.
Browser - Also called Web browser. Digital Technology a software program that allows the user to find and read encoded documents in a form suitable for display, especially such a program for use on tthe World Wide Web.
FTP - File transfer protocol, a standard for the exchange of program and data files across a network.

Domain: A domain name is an identification label that defines a realm of administrative autonomy, authority, or control
URL - Uniform (or universal) resource locator, the address of a World Wide Web page.


.com/.gov Part of the Internet address of many companies and organizations. It indicates that the site is commercial,as opposed to educational or governmental.


Search Engine a computer program that searches documents, especially on the World Wide Web, 
for a specified word or words and provides a list of documents 
in which they are found.
Web Crawler -  
a computer program that automatically retrieves Web pages for use by search engines. 

blog - A Web site on which an individual or group of users record opinions, information, etc. on a regular basis


Social Media - Social media are media for social interaction, using highly accessible and scalable publishing techniques.
Netiquette - The correct or acceptable way of communicating on the Internet
